In honour of the life and lessons of our late father, Shri Hiralal Parekh. In service of fellow Mumbaikars.
Founded in 1982, the Hiralal Parekh Parivar Charity Trust was started by a Mumbai family with a simple mission – To serve our fellow Mumbaikars.
We started Antim Sanskar Seva to offer free-of-cost, dignified funeral and cremation services throughout Mumbai.
Our Work
Antim Sanskar Seva Dignified Funeral & Cremation Services
Starting in 2008, and functional up until 2024, Antim Sanskar Seva was Mumbai’s first service helping bereaved families from different faiths and communities perform the last rites with dignity and respect.
Antim Prasthan Redeveloping Worli Crematorium
In 2019, the Trust signed a joint MOU with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to redevelop one of the city’s largest cremation sites and burial grounds: Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Smashan Bhumi, located on Dr E Moses Road.
We envision the Antim Prasthan project as a living memorial that honours the solemnity of death. It will be a non-denominational facility and services will be offered free of charge to all.
We invite you to partner with us in creating this unique, world-class facility.
“To bring dignity to the final moments on earth and do it in a way that is simple and sustainable is indeed worthy of generous support from the Community.”
